Paul & Daisy Soros Foundation Fellowships
2025 (awarded)
Major: Computer Science & Philosophy
Pronouns: he/him

I am a senior in computer science and philosophy, with minors in history and math. My research focuses on developing AI models and interactions for deeper human thought, especially in areas of inquiry like philosophy, history, and literature. In the meantime, I like to go the gym and read widely. I decided to apply for the Soros Fellowship to help support my graduate education and was inspired by their mission to support immigrants and their children to create a better future for America.

Goals

Short term, I will be completing my PhD in Computer Science. Longer term, I aim to be faculty working jointly in philosophy and computer science.

Tips

Write genuinely and reflectively about your experiences, who you are, and who you want to be; set a bold yet clear vision for what you want to do and why it matters.
